Steff was introduced early in life to our local marine environment by his father and has had a love affair with the ocean ever since. John Young is a Professional Guide and Sailor having hosted numerous private, international and local guests and clients on mobile 4x4, walking, fishing and hunting safaris deep in Africa. Lucy’s career started in the financial sector working for some top Corporate Banks in South Africa. Jorika takes the role of Personal Assistant and booking agent to a whole new level and her proficiency acts like the glue that brings the company seamlessly together. Johannes rarely has a dull moment, he is either checking guests in, doing fuel runs, preparing our vessels, basically whatever is required, all with a smile and an unwavering work ethic. He has a passion for anything related to the water and after experimenting with jobs in stores and construction, he finally found his dream job as a deckhand with us. Grant is our very own whale whisperer, he spends many hours observing the whales from lookout points in Knysna and guiding our vessels out at sea. Grant has a friendly smile and is a valued member of our team. After he matriculated he studied at Boston City campus. He was also part of the local sea cadets for 5 years. He is a friendly soft spoken guy and we are happy to have him as part of our team.
